Call for admissions for international students

In order to promote and enhance international cultural, scientific, educational and research cooperations and interactions between Iran and other countries and with the aim of attracting more elites, scholars and experts from other countries and helping to grow and improve higher education, especially in the neighboring countries, Hazrat-e Masoumeh University (HMU) admits foreign students from among qualified women in BA and MA programs. The admissions will be in the fields listed in the table below and according to the regulations for the admission of foreign students in universities and higher education institutions in the Islamic Republic of Iran. 

Deadlines for initial registration
 

Tuition fees at Hazrat-e Masoumeh University
 
Tuition fees at Hazrat-e Masoumeh University will be in Rial (the currency of Iran), and will be received after submitting the requested documents, initial registration and coordinating with the financial clerk according to the following table:

Note: The tuition fee for teaching Persian language to non- Persian speakers is 40 million Rials which must be paid by non-Persian speakers.

Education Fee discount plans

1- A limited number of applicants who meet the following requirements will receive the education free of charge:

A - Students who are the children of martyrs will be exempted from paying educational fees by presenting an official introduction letter from a competent organization in their country (similar to Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs in Iran).

B - Hafiz of the entire Quran ( applicants  who has completely memorized the Quran).

2-  Non- Iranian applicants who have previously completed one program at Hazrat-e Masoumeh University will receive a discount of 20% on tuition fees for education at higher levels.

Admission requirements for foreign students
General requirements
1-    The confirmation by the Student Affairs Organization indicating that there is no legal prohibition for the applicant to study in universities and higher education institutions in Iran according to current regulations and laws. 
2-    The confirmation of the applicant's general qualification by qualified authorities must be collected.

Items 1 and 2 will be done by the university officials after the student’s application.

3-    The applicant must not be a citizen of the Islamic Republic of Iran and must have a valid foreign passport.
4-    The applicant must have a confirmation from the ministry of foreign affairs or the representatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the applicant’s country.

Specific requirements
1-    There will be an evaluation of the applicant’s academic qualification through an academic interview.
2-    The applicants’ degree certificates and transcripts issued in their country must be confirmed by the ministry of foreign affairs or the embassy/ representatives of Islamic Republic of Iran in the applicant’s country.
3-    Non-Iranian applicants who have completed their previous academic programs in Iranian universities or higher education institutes must submit their previous degree certificates.
4-    Proficiency in Persian language is not a requirement for an admission to research-based MA programs. MA theses can be written in English or Persian.
5-    Non-Iranian MA program applicants whose previous degrees are unrelated to their requested MA program must take some specified prerequisite courses (free of charge) after admission.

Admissions Procedures

The applicants must do only the checked items.

1-    The applicant logs onto the link of the application form (Link) and enters the required information and uploads the requested documents or Call Number Whatsapp 00989360190461.

•    It is necessary to provide complete personal information and a contact number that is always available. 
•    The applicant must upload the following certificates in the electronic application form: Their previous degree certificates and the transcripts, ID cards, an ID type photo, and their unexpired passport.

2-    An admission officer calls the applicant to check their documents.
3-    The applicant pays the tuition fee and receives a receipt from Hazrat-e Masoumeh university.
4-    The admission officer enters the applicant’s information in Iran Student Affairs Organization’s website (SAORG.IR) (Entering the information and documents into different websites for obtaining permits, student visa, academic residence will be done by an admission officer).
5-     The admission officer obtains confirmations from Student Affairs Organization.
6-    The admission officer obtains educational confirmation and issues a student code for the student.
7-    The admission officer obtains the permit for the applicant’s student visa.
8-    The admission officer calls the student and sends them their visa permit.
9-    The student goes to Iran’s consulate in the city mentioned in the registration form to receive their student visa.
10-    The admission officer applies for a student residence permit.
11-    The admission officer obtains the student residence permit.
12-    The student comes to Hazrat-e Masoumeh University.
13-    The student goes to dormitory and checks in their room.
14-    The student goes to Security Department (Herasat) to recieve their student card.
